Do to low ratings Cartoon Network won’t be acquiring any more episodes of Case Closed but they do plan on rerunning the 50 they already have. They also said that there is no plan for Adult Swim to produce a 3rd season of Big O and that they have allowed the rights to Outlaw Star to expire. They also said that there are no plans YET to acquire TV rights to Naruto, the Full Metal Alchemist movie, or Robotech. In some more upbeat news they do plan on airing the Metropolis anime movie, the first 2 InuYasha movies and the Cowboy Bebop movie sometime this year. Also Cartoon Network has now acquired the rights to broadcast the remaining episodes of InuYasha (episodes 105-167) but they have no time-line for when it will be broadcast yet.
